FHEIAR has launched the green legacy kick off at Lewi hill at Awi zone with Motto of 'Let's dress Ethiopia in green' with the facilitator of Injibar University. HE Prof Afework Kassu, State minister of MOSHE, Her Excellency Dr. Mulunesh Abebe, Buruea head of Civil Service and Vice president of ANRS, member of parliament, university presidents, Vice presidents, elders and Awi zone higher officials were participated in the event and put their legacy by planting a tree. During the event, a lot of message have been delivered to the participants and the region in general. Nine tree species were prepared and each guest was planted the tree in the prepared pit. As per the report of the ten universities, last year survival rate of the planted tree seedlings were between 60-92%. The highest survival rates were recorded at Deber Tabor University. June 3 2021
