The forum organized an advocacy workshop focused on addressing the urgent need for health humanitarian response strategies in the conflict-affected areas of the Amhara Region. The workshop will highlight the proposed humanitarian response strategy developed by the Forum in collaboration with non-political stakeholders, aimed at alleviating the suffering of millions. The event will emphasize the need for all armed groups to respect international humanitarian laws and discuss ways to ensure the provision of essential health services amidst the ongoing conflict and instability that have severely impacted the region. It will take place at Unison Hotel in Bahir Dar City on October 14, 2024.
